Orthopedics
Orthopedics specializes to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions that is due to pain associated with pain with the bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and soft tissues— particularly in areas such as the shoulder, hip, knee, elbow, hand, or ankle.
We treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as Arthritis, Tendonitis, musculoskeletal injuries, and sports related injuries. Call us so we can discuss whether your condition is one that we can help treat.
Autoimmune Diseases
Autoimmune Diseases is when the immune system of the body malfunctions, leading to healthy cells, tissues, and organs being attacked by the immune system. This leads to a weakening of bodily function and can be life-threatening depending on the type of disease. Patients may suffer years prior to having a proper diagnosis and some require lifelong treatment to subside symptoms.
We treat a variety of autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, and Fibromyalgia.
Spine
The Spine is made up of 26 bone discs called Vertebrae which protects the spinal cord, allowing you to stand and bend. However damage to the spine can occur to the Vertebrae or surrounding tissues due to a number of problems that can include infections, injuries, tumors, and even bone changes due to age or pressure on the spinal chord or nerves. This then leads to limited movement which can significantly impact quality of life due to chronic back pain.
We provide care and treatment for spine conditions such as Disk Herniation, Lumbar Stenosis, Lumbar-Cervical Stenosis, Spondylolisthesis, and Degenerative Spine Disease.
Tendinopathy & Soft Tissue
Tendinopathy is for any condition that affects a tendon, cords that attach muscle to bone. This can cause pain and tenderness which is quite common. Overuse or repeated movement can affect certain tendons, more commonly in the arm or leg but can also affect the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and heels. Tissues around the joints can also be affected including muscles, ligaments, and bursae (fluid-filled sacs that act as cushions between bones, muscles, tendons, and skin which reduces friction at the joints allowing smooth movement).
We provide treatment for conditions that are tendon-related such as Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Injury, Rotator Cuff Tendinosis, Lateral Epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow), and Pes Anserine Tendinosis (Goose Foot).
Regenerative & Therapeutic
Regenerative Medicine is a field that promotes regeneration, the potential to heal or replace tissues and organs that have been damaged by age, disease, trauma, as well as congenital defects. It involves delivering cells or cell products to tissues or organs that are diseased to restore tissue or organ function. It has been used for many decades as well as using many therapies such as Viscosupplementation, Stem Cells, Platelet-Rich Plasma, and Prolotherapy which help treat and manage chronic pain—all approved and commercially available by the Drug Administration (FDA) and are commonly used for wound healing and Orthopedic applications.
Therapeutic Treatment is a variety of ways to prevent, treat, alleviate disease, and promote healing for a patient which can be through medicine, medical devices, procedures, vaccines, or lifestyle changes.
We provide therapeutic treatments that support the body’s natural healing processes and enhance recovery. Therapies such as Rich-Platelet Plasma (PRP) and Stem Cell Treatment are used here at the clinic for patients who are seeking alternative treatments for pain, inflammation, and chronic conditions.
